Paris Hilton it’s remembering what’s important in life after losing his Malibu home in the Wildfires in Los Angeles.
Hilton, 43, took Instagram on Sunday, January 19, to share a video of her son Phoenix, 2, snuggled in a blanket alongside the family’s two dogs.
The clip, which zoomed in on the youngster’s face and captured his puppies Diamond and Baby lazing next to him, was accompanied by the text, “Take a moment to relax with Pheeny, Diamond and Baby asleep,” written across it.
The mother of two, who also shares daughter London, 1, with her husband, Carter Reumcaptioned the clip with a heartfelt message. “A few images of Pheeny and sleeping puppies for your feed 🧘🏼♀️🩷 Through everything that’s going on around us, sometimes we need a lovely reminder to take a moment of mindfulness for ourselves 🥹# SlivingMom,” Hilton wrote. (The term “Sliving” combines “kill” and “live”, a word coined by Hilton.)
This post comes after Hilton confirmed via the social media platform on January 9 that she saw her “Malibu house burn to the ground on live television.” Detailing the experience at the time, she wrote: “It was in this house that we built so many precious memories. A heartbroken Hilton has already put together a remarkable perspective, continuing: “While the loss is overwhelming, I remain grateful that my family and animals are safe. My heart and prayers go out to every family affected by these fires. To all the people who have lost their homes, their memories and their beloved pets. My sorrows for those who are still in danger or who are grieving greater losses. The devastation is unimaginable.
Hilton has maintained a positive outlook on the devastation of the Los Angeles wildfires, which affected a string of celebrities after erupting due to a windstorm on January 7, lending a helping hand to displaced animals despite her personal heartbreak.
She shared via Instagram on Monday, January 13, that she plans to welcome a dog which was returned by his family who had lost their house in the fire. “And we’re going to see if there are any other dogs that are still looking for their owners,” Hilton posted at the time, adding a photo of herself doting on a cat in hopes of finding its owner amid the Altadena fires. .
Hilton and a crowd of celebrities shared vital information about disaster resources in the wake of the natural disaster, with the socialite adding that her own charity was offering help. The Jan. 13 post continues: “My nonprofit @1111Media Impact has helped support the shelter’s efforts, and we continue to raise funds to help displaced families and pets. 💰Every donation makes a difference in providing emergency relief, housing and supplies.
