Charlie Sheen And Denise Richards‘ girl Lola Brillant opens with his spiritual journey.
Lola, 19, revealed on Wednesday (January 22) that she was recently baptized after turning to Christ amid a difficult time in her life.
“When I was in my deepest depression, there was a moment when I realized I had hit rock bottom. I felt so lost and hopeless, and I was doing my best to make it to the next day,” Lola captioned a series of photos from her baptism via Instagram.
“I just accepted that my life would be like this forever and I thought I would never really laugh again. Until I met not only my Savior but also my best friend, Jesus,” she continued. “I can’t really explain it other than that it was supernatural, but Jesus met me right where I was, and he became my sunshine forever. I began to trust Jesus with my life, when He chose me when no one else did, and loved me when I didn’t feel worthy of love. He gave me a light when I couldn’t find my own and saved me from darkness.
Lola then detailed her recent health issues, including her “struggle with severe anxiety,” and said turning to religion helped her find “peace.”
“I now find myself laughing again, where I had only cried. Jesus kept his promise to make me new and completely renewed my mind. Jesus is the only reason I am here today and who has made my life worth living,” she wrote.
Lola added: “I chose to be baptized at the start of this year, because I survived this year only because of the strength of Jesus, and I am so happy to start next year, after declaring publicly Jesus as my Savior. I am saved forever by his grace through faith.
“I thank you Jesus for everything, I love you and I hope you are proud of me,” she concluded.
Lola is the youngest of Sheen and Richards’ two daughters. She has an older sister, Sami20.
In December, Richards, 53, shared details of his new reality show featuring her daughters — Sami, Lola and her adopted daughter Eloise, 13 — and her husband, Aaron Phypers.

Richards added that fans shouldn’t expect the new series to be similar to Denise Richards: it’s complicatedwhich took place from 2008 to 2009 and when his children were much younger. Even though Eloise wasn’t yet born when the series originally aired, Richards said she was “the easiest to film” this time around.
“I’m not perfect and they will see that I make mistakes,” Richards continued. “Our family is by no means perfect, but I hope they can understand some of the things our family is going through as well.”
