Weight

Diego Pacheo 166.4 vs. Steven Nelson 168

Andy Cruz 134.8 Vs. Omar Salcido 134.8

Cruz (4-0, 2 KOs) and Salcido (20-1, 14 KOs) will fight in a 10-round lightweight title eliminator for the WBC belt. This fight should be the main event, but Hearn is pushing Pacheco (22-0, 18 KOs) to transform into a star as quickly as possible.

“It’s time to fight. The conversation doesn’t matter. It’s time to play,” Steven Nelson said after weigh Friday for his fight against Diego Pacheco on Saturday evening. “My goal and my determination. There’s nothing I haven’t seen. I’ve seen everything I’m supposed to do at camp.

“He is young. He didn’t see. He can’t prepare for what I bring. It’s going to be an incredible night for so cold. You saw the cold front. It went all over the country. So cold, baby,” Nelson said.

“I’m just ready to go. I’m excited for this fight. I hope Steven Nelson is ready for what happens tomorrow night. This is the DP show. If he doesn’t know, he’s about to fight,” Diego Pacheco said. “Steven Nelson is a good fighter, but he’s never been with anyone like me. I promise. You will see tomorrow.

“I prepared myself as this is the last fight of my life and I am ready to go out and put on another great show for all my people. Most certainly, and I haven’t come this far just to come this far. I’m not letting the man take this from me. This is the DP era, and I’m here to stay. I’m showing that I belong to the elites, and it’s time for us to leave,” Diego said.
