DENVER–(BUSINESS WIRE)–CSG ® (NASDAQ: CSGS) today announced, as part of the Board’s long-term succession planning process, that Ron Cooper, current Chairman of the board of directors, will step down at the end of his term on May 14, 2025. Marwan Fawaz, current board member and industry veteran, was selected by the board to succeed Mr. Cooper as chairman following the May 2025 annual meeting of shareholders.
Mr. Fawaz has been a member of the CSG Board of Directors since 2016. A 25+ year veteran of the technology, media and telecommunications industry, he has served as an Executive Advisor at Google and Alphabet (NASDAQ:), CEO of Nest and Google/Motorola Home and held leadership positions at Charter Communications (NASDAQ:), Adelphia Communications and MediaOne. Additionally, Mr. Fawaz serves on the board of directors of NRG Energy (NYSE:NYSE:) and Ubicquia Incorporated.
