While fans are still in shock Matt James And Rachel Kirkconnellis divided, We couldn’t help but wonder if they might ever hand out (or accept) roses again.
“I think it’s open,” host Jesse Palmer said Us every week during a exclusive interview about its partnership with Great Clips. “First of all, I was really sad to read that and see that too. And I certainly hope they’re both okay. This must be a really, really difficult time for both of them. And I know they want (and) will need time to process everything that happened.
James, 33, announced on Thursday (January 16) that he and Kirkconnell, 28, had separated. He used a photo from season 25 of The Bachelor – where they met four years ago – for his headline-grabbing announcement message.
“I think the last thing they wanted to think about was getting back on the show,” Palmer continued. “These decisions are way beyond me. I absolutely think, though, that the show would consider doing one or both of them again at some point if it was open to it. Absolutely.”
While Kirkconnell and James are the latest split to rock Bachelor Nation, the most recent season of the show – The Golden Bachelorette season 1 starring Jeanne Vassos – ended with an engagement.
“They’re everywhere,” Palmer said We when asked about Vassos and her fiancé Chock Chapple. “They’re in New York and then they’re visiting his family and they’re back in Kansas and they’re everywhere. They are a very difficult single couple to follow, in all honesty.
Vassos, 62, and Chapple, 61, said they were in no rush to walk down the aisle.
“But I know they’re both very excited,” Palmer continued. “They enjoy each other’s company. And look, I certainly hope the wedding bells are on the horizon sooner rather than later, but they’ve earned that right to kind of have time to have fun and if they need a celebrant, I know a guy.
In the meantime, Palmer is preparing for the premiere of Grant Ellis‘ season 29 of The Bachelor.
“I don’t want to speak for Grant, but I think he’s very, very happy with the way things ended,” Palmer teased. We. “I know he’s really excited for everyone to see this all unfold. Grant is a very easy guy to get behind. I’m a fan of his and I know he’s a guy who has been so successful in everything he’s done in his life outside of love (so far).
Fans who have been waiting for the ABC series to return have seen plenty of Palmer on the network via his great clips commercial, running throughout the College Football Playoff and promoting the brand’s $9.99 haircut.
“I’m sorry, I’m not sorry,” he joked. We on the frequency of broadcast of the ad. “I had so much fun doing this. It was great. It’s the best time of the year: the national championship, the playoffs. We all want to look and feel better. It’s great.
